International Textile Biennial 2017

Met genoegen melden wij U de organisatie van de 2de editie van de International Textile Biennial 2017 dewelke zal doorgaan van 4 t.e.m. 12 maart 2017 in het Gemeenschapscenturm Den Breughel te (3150) Haacht,

lokatie gesitueerd in de driehoek van drie kunststeden Mechelen-Leuven-Brussel.

Deze Biënnale biedt textielkunstenaars een unieke gelegenheid hun recent werk te presenteren – het biedt hen ook een uitzonderlijke kans een nieuw publiek te bereiken en te netwerken.

De ITB 2017 wordt ondersteund door een geïntegreerde pers en media campagne met focus op het aantrekken van zowel binnen- als buitenlandse interesse en deelname. 

De ITB 2017 wordt georganiseerd door de vzw Kunststichting Perspektief dewelke instaat voor de hoge kwaliteit, presentatie en promotie van de textielkunst.

Nationale en internationale textielkunstenaars worden uitgenodigd hun recentste werken ter selectie in te dienen - uiterste indiendatum is 1 november 2016..

Resultaten worden bekend gemaakt uiterlijk 15 november.

Selectie zal geschieden op basis van de artisitieke kwaliteit, uitmuntheid van het werk en de algemene indruk inzake eigen werkstukken.

The Art Foundation has the pleasure to announce the organization of the 2nd International Textile Biennial 2017 which will be held at the Cultural Community Center (located in the triangle of the cultural cities of Mechelen, Leuven and Brussels)

We invite national and international glass artists to particate in this event- all applications will be examined by a jury out of which a limited number international artists will be selected to take part in this prestigious event.

Important :

The descision of acceptation will be based upon following criteria : technological qualities of the work, artistical qualities, outstanding pieces and the general impression of the variety of production.

This international event runs from March 4 to March 12,2017 and will be supported by an international press campaign.
