International Paper Art Biennial 2018
De Kunststichting Perspektief vzw (Haacht-België) organiseert haar 3de Internationale Papierkunst Biënnale in het Gemeenschapscentrum Den Breughel in Haacht ( 850 m² kunst oppervlakte / 3 niveaus dit centrum is gelegen in de culturele driehoek van Brussel, Mechelen en Leuven.
Dit internationale evenement loopt van 24 februari tot 4 maart 2018 en wordt ondersteund door een internationale perscampagne.
De tentoonstelling zal de deelnemers in staat stellen hun werk in een internationale context voor excellence te erkennen. Het wordt bijgewoond door internationaal publiek, en biedt een spannend platform voor discussie en kritisch debat.
De tentoonstelling zal opnieuw de waarden van ambachtspraktijk vieren door werken uit de hele wereld samen te brengen, die fantasierijke eigentijdse ideeën uitdrukken door middel van een begrip van materialen, vaardigheden en tradities.
Wij verwelkomen inspirerende werken die gericht zijn op het uitdagen van percepties van ambacht, zowel door middel van schaal, techniek, ontwerp, interpretatie van materialen of weergave, inclusief installaties.
The Art Foundation (ngo) - Kunststichting Perspektief vzw (Haacht-Belgium) - has the pleasure to announce the organization of the 3rd International Paper Art Biennial 2018 which will be held at the Cultural Community Center at Haacht (Belgium), 850 m² of art surface / 3 levels, located in the cultural triangle of Brussels,Mechelen and Leuven.
This international event runs from February 24 to March 4.2018 and will be supported by an international press campaign.
The exhibition will enable participants to have their work recognised for excellence within an international context. It will be attended by international audiences, and will offer an exciting platform for discussion and critical debate.
The exhibition will once again celebrate the values of crafts practice by bringing together works from around the world, that expresses imaginative contemporary ideas through an understanding of materials, skills and traditions.
We welcome inspirational works which aim to challenge perceptions of craft, whether through scale, technique, design, interpretation of materials or display, including installations.
As proved over the last few years the biennial aims to attract an interest ofthe professional art community such as curators, gallery owners, collectors who are always searching for new talents.
