This Biennial became an increasingly important international high level exhibition; the Biennial shifted the focus of art from the major art centers to new locations such as the Art Community Center at Haacht (Belgium) with his 850 m² exhibition surface spread over 3 levels.
The third edition ranks in prestige and importance with the world's top biennials and is one of the most prestigious ceramic show in Europe for international contemporary ceramic art.
This high level Biennial offers these artists a unique opportunity to exhibit – it also provides them with an exceptional opportunity to reach new audiences.

De Kunststichting Perspektief vzw (Haacht-België) organiseert haar 3de Internationale Keramiekkunst Biënnale in het Gemeenschapscentrum Den Breughel in Haacht ( 850 m² kunst- oppervlakte / 3 niveaus) - dit centrum is gelegen in de culturele driehoek van Brussel, Mechelen en Leuven.
De visie voor de Ceramic Biennal is het creëren van een spannend nieuw platform voor het ontdekken en presenteren van keramiekkunst met werken die door toonaangevende en opkomende kunstenaars worden gemaakt.
De tentoonstelling zal de deelnemers in staat stellen hun werk in een internationale context voor excellence te erkennen. Het wordt bijgewoond door internationaal publiek, en biedt een spannend platform voor discussie en kritisch debat.
De tentoonstelling zal opnieuw de waarden van ambachtspraktijk vieren door werken uit de hele wereld samen te brengen, die fantasierijke eigentijdse ideeën uitdrukken door middel van een begrip van materialen, vaardigheden en tradities.
